Read on to find out our thoughts on “Oh My God.”
Hilary “The CEO and Google Glass Explorer”:
Do you often have dreams about crisis situations like this?
Yes, this was a real dream and it happens a lot. That’s why I wake up at 3 a.m. and am up for hours.
Why were you sleeping on your couch? Why so tired?
I really have a hard time sleeping. I get to sleep early and then wake up so instead of waking the whole house, I go downstairs and sit on the couch and blog.
How long have you been playing golf? Where do you like to play?
I started playing golf about seven years ago and I love it. I go to Eisenhower Park, Lido and mostly public courses.
How is it golfing with Glass?
Well, I flubbed a bunch of shots, which I don’t typically do, but of course while wearing Glass I couldn’t hit the ball…
You work out at Fusion Fitness a lot. Do you enjoy it?
Yes, I love training with Jason Kerr, the owner at Fusion Health and Fitness. He really knows his stuff.
What were you thinking when Dan called?
I thought that he wouldn’t accept the job, but I was happy that he did.
Kristie “The Skeptic”:
How do you handle crisises?
I actually love crisis management. One of my favorite things to do is to take a problem and fix it.
Has a crisis like this ever happened at HJMT before?
We’ve had plenty of crisis here at HJMT, both for the firm and for clients. Nothing quite like what happened in Hilary’s dream, but it is something we talk about often. We do have a very good social media plan in place that we implement. We also recommend our clients have a plan in place as well so that social media hacking can be prevented, but in today’s world – it can happen to the best of us.
What do you recommend a company do if they get hacked?
If one of our clients were to get hacked I would probably recommend a similar approach to what we did in the dream, face it head-on. Make sure to address anyone who could have been impacted and take immediate actions to stop the hacking or prevent it from happening on other sites.
Daniel “The Bi-Linguist”:
Why did you ultimately decide to take the job?
I really felt comfortable here at HJMT. It seemed like the right position and company to work for to begin my professional career and get great experience doing a lot of different things.
How long had you already been working at HJMT when you filmed the last scene?
I’m pretty sure I was only working for about three or four days. It was fun to act like I hadn’t been there yet and then jump in at the last second to accept the job!
What did you think of the ending?
I thought it was good to end on a positive note. The whole episode flowed really well and I was happy to see how it turned out!
Elizabeth “The Diplomat“:
Do you enjoy sharing an office with Mary?
I honestly do! We’re always talking about food and funny stuff-there’s constant laughter in our office. Plus, the more time passes, the more we both realize we have a lot in common!
What did you think of Hilary’s dream?
Her dream was crazy! That’s always a nightmare, whether it’s personal or business related-getting hacked is terrible! Unfortunately, we now live in a world where hacking is a daily occurrence and the best way to combat it is to keep your login information safe and be prepared in case it happens.
Mary “The New Girl”:
Do you enjoy sharing an office with Elizabeth?
I enjoy sharing an office with Elizabeth. She’s easy to work with, a great listener and is always willing to help me out when I have a question or concern.
What did you think of Hilary’s dream?
Hilary’s dream sounds like the kind of dream you have when you’re not getting enough sleep and only running on fumes. When you go right into REM sleep as soon as you lay down for a nap. We all react to stress and a strenuous workload in different ways and it seems like Hilary’s stress is manifesting itself into work-related nightmares. Maybe she should take a vacation!
Episode 5 will air next Wednesday, November 13th at 7 p.m. EST. And don’t forget, join the HJMT team on Twitter at 7:30 p.m. EST for a live chat on all things Glasslandia!
