Case Study – NY TRI EXPO – Social Media Outreach
For the inaugural NY TRI EXPO, HJMT used social media to generate attention amongst Tri-State area triathletes, runners, cyclists and swimmers. To start, HJMT created accounts across various social networks with ties to strong triathlete, runner, cyclist and swimmer groups. The firm then identified influencers in the endurance sports sector. HJMT reached out to these influencers to create interest and ultimately, lead to a ticket sale or repost. In addition to targeting influencers, HJMT joined and posted to relevant endurance sports groups on Facebook to generate a conversation with the athletes. Thanks to these efforts, more than 2,000 tickets were purchased.
