Mother’s Day & JetBlue
Today is Mother’s Day and because of it we are bombarded with Mother’s Day deals and promotions. Many brands use this day to really reinforce their respect and admiration for the mothers in this world and in turn, hope to draw positive attention for their family oriented mindset. One such brand that used Mother’s Day to its “advantage” is JetBlue.
The most common thing parents worry about when traveling with their children is crying. No one wants to be the parent of the wailing baby on an airplane causing their fellow passengers to experience a less than ideal plane ride. In fact, I know I’ve even thought to myself when seated next to an parent and infant, ugh, this is going to be a long flight.
But, JetBlue turned this around and had passengers rooting for a crying baby on one flight from JFK to Long Beach, CA. The “FlyBabies” stunt offered a 25 percent discount to passengers each time a baby started crying. If four babies cried, all passengers on the flight would get a free round-trip ticket for their next JetBlue flight.

Pretty brilliant if you ask me. I don’t know about you, but as a new mom, I really appreciated this. Bravo JetBlue, happy to give you my business!
Happy Mother’s Day 🙂
