Ever want to post multiple photos or videos, but don’t want to fill your Instagram feed or “spam” your followers? Not a problem anymore. With Instagram’s new update, users can now upload multiple photographs and/or videos in ONE post. In fact, you can post up to 10 photos/videos all at one time.
“When uploading to your feed, you’ll see a new icon to select multiple photos and videos. It’s easy to control exactly how your post will look. You can tap and hold to change the order, apply a filter to everything at once or edit one by one. These posts have a single caption and are square-only for now. On your profile grid, you’ll notice the first photo or video of your post has a little icon, which means there’s more to see.”
With this new feature, that was announced on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 people don’t have to pick just one video or photograph anymore and can now choose multiple videos/photos to tell their stories. As with any new update, some people will love it and some will hate it. Many users are comparing it to Facebook albums. This update is great for the regular user, as well as, the options it provides for brands as a marketing tool. It is simple and quick and saves time when you are debating what photograph or video to post and most importantly, allows the user to tell a more complete story.
